About Me

I was born in Cambridge and grew up in the beautiful, flat Bedfordshire countryside. In 2006, I moved to the nearby London and studied my degree in Fine Art at University of Westminster, where I was lucky enough to have the painter Stuart Cumberland as my tutor. I continued to paint after graduating and took part in several exhibitions, alongside working as a Visual Merchandiser on Oxford Street and an Art Handler for the wonderful company Van Girls.

In 2014 I was accepted on a scholarship to study ceramics painting in Portugal, where I set up a pop-up gallery called 'The Bread Factory' in an empty bakery. Here, I organised a series of exhibitions with a group of four artists who were on the same EU-funded scholarship.

When I returned, I applied for the MFA in Art and Humanities at University of Dundee and was accepted. After finishing my MFA with a distinction in 2015, I decided to stay in Dundee, where I have set up a studio and run workshops with primary schools, community groups and with the McManus Gallery. I exhibit throughout the UK, including notable solo exhibitions at Hartlepool Art Gallery, Verdant Works, Dundee and Alien Hole Gallery, Inverness. I am the Bursary Award Winner for the Pittenweem Art Festival 2017.
