Upcoming Exhibitions and Events

May is shaping up to be a busy month.

Here are three events you can find me at…

1. 4th-7th May: Fractured Two at Studio 11, Meadow Mill, Dundee

A group exhibition curated by Dundee-based photographer Kathryn Rattray. I was very excited to have been invited to exhibit at this brand new space, which is on the ground floor of the WASPS artist’s studios in Dundee. The exhibition will be a preview of my brand new 2018 collection (title to be confirmed!), which will be exhibited in full at Pittenweem Arts Festival later this year. The venue looks to be an exciting place for emerging artists to exhibit their work in the city and has real potential, as there is nothing like it in Dundee. Fractured Two will be Studio 11’s second exhibition and brings together four painters, a ceramist, a carpenter and a photographer.

2. 8th May: Make/Share

A monthly event hosted by Creative Dundee. I am one of four speakers at April’s Make/Share event at The Beer Kitchen in Dundee. The theme will be The Worship of ‘busy’ and I will be talking a bit about my residency at the Halley Stevensons textiles factory in Dundee. The event runs 7pm – 8.30pm and is free entry.

3. 12th May: Iconic Dundee: Halley Stevensons presents Home & Dry

A Dundee Fashion Week event. This one day event onboard HMS Unicorn brings together a selection of Halley Stevensons’ clients to celebrate the diversity of their waxed cotton fabric. I had the immense pleasure of working with Halley Stevensons in 2017 and will be presenting some of the paintings I created during my residency at the factory. I will also be selling limited edition prints, including the hugely popular A3 print of Factory Sunset. Open 10-4.30pm and a rare opportunity to board HMS Unicorn for free!

As always, email me with any questions, or if you’d like to reserve a piece of work.

Thanks for reading!
